Thermo bims: Bims is a volcanic mineral that is sponge texture, airy, silicate based weights between 400-800 kg /m3, with glass texture look. “bims grit”; it is the crushed form of bims suitable for light concrete and making of construction materials.

‘Thermo bims’ are produced through vibrated compression of crushed bims with added water and cement. It is a light building material with high thermal and sound isolation. Its thermal conductivity ratio is 0.16 kcal/mhoc and vapor diffusion resistance factor is 2.0, through its heat isolation qualities you can create natural environments what breathe. Economy: It is the cheapest isolation material in the market; because of its smooth surface saving can be made up to 50 percent from easy brick lying and plastering; Due to its composition plastering is made easier. It is also crack proof. Its thermal isolation is high at 0.16 heat conductivity. Its porous and bubbly structure gives the thermo bims its high thermal isolation qualities. Production, Production Methods and Capacity:
Thermo bims are produced in our factory by full automatic machines supported and controlled by computers. Thermo bims has high qualities and are compliant with the Turkish Standards. It is manufactured in halve sizes too. During Thermo bims production a team of nine is employed, 1 is responsible of overall production, 1 switchboard operator, 2 machine operators, 2 forklift drivers and 3 handymen. The quality and control tests on the thermo bims are carried out in our own laboratory. All result of the tests has been satisfactory. Our company goes further and carries our quality control tests at the laboratories of Eastern Mediterranean University whose results are compared with the outcomes from our laboratories. Besides thermo bims precast products are also produced at the same standards as thermo bims. We also produce cobblestone, curbs, briquettes and water pipes.
