Internationally successful Tosunoglu Group celebrated its success of having being granted all its production and managerial related EU quality certificates in the past one year.  In the event last night at the Nicosia Merit Hotel attended by many figures from business world, politics, media and group employees,  Hasan Tosunoglu the Chairman of the Tosunoglu Group Board of Directors and Founder of the TSE Cyprus Representation Ayse Cosar delivered  speeches.
Now we are Europeans
At the evening with the slogan of “Turkish Cypriot Investor carried its Quality in Production to Europe” Hasan Tosunoglu the Group President said he was honored on behalf of his company and nation he loved so much to share the rightful honors they have achieved. He cordially thanked mainly the people and all parties who believed in them and supported them every the way.
Tosunoglu said Turkish Cypriot investors responsibility was greater then the investors in Europe and rest of the world and added: “This responsibility is an obligation put on our shoulders to prove everyone that we can produce the best and that we are at a level of being a internationally respectable. This responsibility is in reality a sign of love to the county”
Ayse Cosar in her speech she made at the evening said, while supporting integration with the EU, quality and standardization were the main principles in all their objectives and formations. She congratulated the employees and directors of the Tosunoglu group for the attention paid towards the quality of production that could compete with the world.
Cosar said, Institution of Turkish Standards that acted as a bridge between Europe and Turkey, helped the industrialists and businessmen in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in preparing themselves for global competition.
Cosar said:”As known, the standards serves as a guarantee that the product they purchase would work with harmony with others, as a criteria to make a pre judgment of the quality for consumers and end users. It also helps increase the quality of life by contributing to safety, human life and conservation of environment. In this scope I once again congratulate all members of Tosunoglu Group who managed to get TSE certificate and CE to their products  and TS-EN ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System Certificate for all of its institutions ” 
The evening continued with a cocktail and life music.

Tosunoglu Group has put its name to yet another social event on May 1st celebrations in North Cyprus.
Directors and workers at Tosunoglu Group -a prominent name in the production sector- marked the May 1st Workers Day by cleaning Galpsides Beach. Around 100 members from the Tosunoglu group filled litter bags with rubbish scattered along the beach. The group put the rubbish collected from the beach in the three hour social event at an area designated by the municipality. The group employees later gathered at the picnic area near the Salamis Ruins for their annual feast.
Hasan Tosunoglu the Chairman of the Tosunoglu Group Board of Directors who participated to the event with his family, said in the speech he gave after the event at the Galpsides Beach, that leaving a clean environment to the next generation was every Turkish Cypriot’s duty.  He thanked to all employees and their families who participated to the event. Tosunoglu said having a clean environment was possible only by keeping it clean. For this he said making kids accustomed with environmental sensitivity at home as well as at schools should be perceived as a communal responsibility.
